Reseña: A conference room in the Kunstmuseum will be transformed into a printing workshop for this year’s exhibition for children and adolescents. The museum’s extensive graphics collection comprises over 5,000 works from the 20th and the 21st century. This collection includes lithographs, serigraphs, monotypes and etchings. Many of these works are sensitive to light. They also require concentrated viewing and contain fascinating effects and secrets because of their different techniques. This exhibition aims at revealing the techniques and development processes. Apart from exhibits by contemporary artists, instructive pointers and the printing workshop offer the opportunity to become acquainted with graphic art and to try out techniques. This project is sponsored by the Minister President of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
